NAMIBIA FLYING CIRCUIT ROUTES
Looking to cover the highlight of Namibia in a short period of time, or purely
using the most efficient form of travel between longer stays – the “hop-on,
hop-off” Namibian flying circuit is an ideal way to traverse the country in a
cost-effective and short time. Create your own safari and decide how long you
want to stay. Explore the dunes of Sossusvlei, the ambience of an idyllic,
colonial coastal town, the scenic attractions of Damaraland and the wildlife
of the Etosha National Park.
The standard package options are:
SOUTHERN CIRCUIT: The circuit starts in Windhoek and flies to the
Sossusvlei area. From here it continues to Swakopmund where the southern
circuit ends. Guests can then continue their trip on a self-drive basis, make
use of the daily Windhoek/Swakopmund Shuttle or board the Desert Express to
return to Windhoek.

FULL CIRCUIT: The full circuit route is a
combination of the southern and northern circuit. It starts in Windhoek and
proceeds to Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, Etosha and back to Windhoek.
There are various establishments in the areas to choose from in creating your
perfect itinerary, however, you may have to pay a nominal surcharge for the
flight connections that deviate from the stipulated destination of the flight.
The flight times have been arranged in such a way to give you the following
advantages:
• To accommodate the majority of international flights into Windhoek
International Airport. The flight from Windhoek to Sossusvlei connects with
most inbound international flights, thus avoiding a lay over in Windhoek.
• In the Sossusvlei area, guests leave after morning activities such as
ballooning. Further, the scenic flight to Swakopmund is late enough to avoid
the early morning coastal fog.
• Guests will depart from and arrive at the accommodation of choice so as not
to miss out on any activities these camps may offer.
Benefits of the circuit:
Set departure and arrival times. These times will be included in your
travel planner
Huge cost savings - Costs are marginal compared with rental vehicles.
To drive a similar route will take in excess of 18 hours meaning extra days,
extra car rental whilst in one place and extra accommodation while on the
road.
Fantastic aerial perspective of Namibia
Flexibility - Guests can stay in the different areas for any number of
nights they wish to (subject to a minimum stay).
The flights include a scenic flight from Sossusvlei to Swakopmund on
the Full and Southern Circuit.
POINT TO POINT AIR CHARTERS
If your personal preference is to cover distance more conveniently by air,
although Namibia does not have a domestic scheduled service, we do provide a
charter air point to point service to most areas in the country. This provides
flexibility to create an own itinerary, or simply an effective way to cover
distance in the shortest time. All flying to remuneration is done under the
Operating Certificate of a licensed Flying Charter Company.
