Day 1
Windhoek – Namib Naukluft Park – NamibRand Private Reserve
You will be met by a company representative at your hotel in Windhoek and transferred to Eros Airport for an early morning check-in and departure by light aircraft to Sossusvlei, considered the highlight of southern Namibia.
Accommodation: Wolwedans Dunes Lodge

The Wolwedans Dunes Lodge is situated on the magnificent NamibRand Private Nature Reserve in Namibia. The lodge provides a unique desert experience in luxurious surroundings.
The lodge is constructed on wooden platforms and overlooks the Namib Desert in all directions. The buildings are made from wooden poles and canvas and reflect the charm of a tented camp. The permanent nature of these buildings offers protection from the harsh desert environment.

The Dunes Lodge is perched on top of a dunes plateau and overlooks panoramic vistas in all directions, capturing the desert in a most memorable way. The building style is a combination of wooden structures, large canvas blinds and windows that open up to the desert beyond. The lodge reflects the ambience of a tented camp, but provides the comfort and protection of a permanent building. Each of the nine spacious Chalets with en-suite bathrooms leads onto a private veranda and vast stretches of untouched sand. Sleeping with your canvas blinds open is as good as sleeping under the stars.

The main complex consists of two lounges, a number of sundowner decks, a fireplace, a tea deck, a library, the wine cellar and two dining rooms. All communal areas of the lodge open out onto verandas with superb views. A swimming pool will be added during 2004 and it is this variety of recreational areas, which make a visit both relaxing and exciting and calls for a 3 night stay.

Accompanied by experienced guides, visitors are introduced to the many facets of NamibRand Nature Reserve's desert habitat with its diverse fauna and flora - on foot, by car, or from the air. Interpretive scenic drives in open Landrovers and nature walks with resident field guides reveal the fascinating wonders of the desert - as do picnics in the wild, sundowners on the dunes and dinners by candlelight.

Day 2 & Day 3:
Namib Naukluft Park – NamibRand Private Reserve - Sossusvlei
Sossusvlei – Enjoy a full day safari with picnic lunch en route. Alternatively you can join one or two half-day excursions i.e. if you feel like lazing around for an afternoon, simply admiring the views and colours which change by the hour - the choice is entirely yours.

An optional extra ballooning safari can be reserved to provide an unforgettable sunrise over the Namib Desert.

Day 4
Windhoek
After a scrumptious breakfast and check-out, your charter flight back to Windhoek takes off; either continue directly to Windhoek International Airport to connect with your departure flight or return to Eros Airport and spend an additional night in Namibia's capital city before your final departure.
