ITINERARY:
Day 1
Windhoek – Namib Naukluft Park
On arrival at the Windhoek Airport you will be welcomed by a company
representative and assisted onto your charter flight. Departure by light
aircraft for your charter flight on route to the Namib Desert and the
Sossusvlei Wilderness Lodge. Midday arrival, conduct a late afternoon nature
drive excursion in safari vehicles.

Day 2
Namib Naukluft Park - Sossusvlei
Conduct an early morning excursion in safari vehicles to the Namib Naukluft
Park to the famed Namib Sand Sea and to the magnificent Sossusvlei dunes. Once
in the desert optional excursions are conducted on foot to photograph the dune
landscape and the desert ecology or to climb some of the highest known dunes
in the world. A light breakfast is served under the spreading Camel thorn
acacia trees (Acacia eriloba) before returning to the lodge by midday. Late
afternoon nature drive activities in safari vehicles are conducted on the
reserve.

An optional extra ballooning safari can be reserved to provide an
unforgettable sunrise over the Namib Desert.
Day 3
Skeleton Coast - Damaraland
After a leisurely breakfast continue via private charter crossing the Namib
Sand Sea on route to the coastal town of Swakopmund. This route includes a
scenic flight along the “Skeleton Coast” viewing the “Edward Bohlen (1909)”
and “Shaunee (1976)” shipwrecks and Sandwich Harbour. On arrival in Swakopmund
you will be met by a company representative for a tour of the city. Some time
will be at leisure to explore Namibia’s premier coastal resort. Founded in
1892 during the period of German colonial rule it served as the territory’s
main harbour for years. Today this quaint town nestled between desert and
ocean is enhanced by lush green lawns, palm trees and carefully tended
gardens. There is a good selection of restaurants and coffee shops selling
traditional German cakes and pastries. Lunch today can be at one of the local
seafood restaurants and is excluded from the tour price. During the afternoon
continue with your charter flight along the northern “Skeleton Coast” before
crossing the fascinating geological formations of the Ugab Basin. Arrival at
the camp is during the late afternoon.

Day 4
Damaraland
Excursions at the Damaraland Camp are concentrated around the semi-desert
pro-Namib Region and the Huab River Basin. This includes guided walking
excursions with a local guide to discover the fascinating flora and fauna
species, which have adapted to this harsh environment. A highlight is a nature
drive in safari vehicles in search of the “Desert Adapted Elephant species”
which regularly frequent the dry Huab River bed.

Day 5
Etosha National Park – Ongava Private Game Reserve
After a leisurely breakfast continue via private charter towards the renowned
Etosha National Park and the Ongava Lodge. Arrival by midday for lunch and
conduct a late afternoon game viewing drive activity in open safari vehicles
on the 30 000ha Ongava Ranch. Adjacent to the Etosha National Park, the Ongava
Ranch is stocked with a selection of game species, including Black and White
Rhino, Leopard, Lion and Waterbuck.

Day 6
Etosha National Park – Ongava Private Game Reserve
This morning will be spent conducting game viewing excursions in open safari
vehicles into the central region of the Etosha National Park. This will
include visits to a number of watering holes in the vicinity of the Okaukuejo
Rest Camp. By midday return to the lodge / camp before conducting a late
afternoon game drive activity in open safari vehicles on the Ongava Reserve.

Day 7
Windhoek
After a leisurely breakfast you will be transferred to the airfield for your
return private charter to the Windhoek Airport where you will connect with
your regional or international scheduled departure.
