Namib Naukluft Park - The Naukluft Section

DIRECTIONS:
The best route from the south is the C14 which links Maltahöhe with Solitaire, while the recommended route from Windhoek, the C24, is joined about 3 km south of Rehoboth. At Rietoog, however, you turn onto district road 1206 and follow it for 28 km to Büllsport where the C14 is joined.
Turn onto the D854 signposted about 2 km south of Büllsport to reach the Naukluft entrance gate about 11 km further down the road.
The park office is 12 km beyond the gate.

ACCOMMODATION:
Accommodation at Naukluft camp is limited to four sites with picnic tables and benches, fireplaces and drinking water, as well as ablution facilities.

FACILITIES:
Since there is no shop, restaurant or filling station, visitors must be totally self-sufficient. Firewood or charcoal can, however, usually be bought at the office.

There are short hikes from the camp site and two well marked trails of 10 km and 17 km each.
