ITINERARY:

Day 1
Saturdays
Depart Windhoek and travel to the coast. Visit craft market in Okahandja en route. Short stop for Lunch at Karibib or Usakos (for own account). Visit Goanikontes and the Moon Landscape. Arrive at Swakopmund in the afternoon. Possibly meet at dinner fellow travellers who join the tour in Swakopmund.
DBB Swakopmund – preferably Hansa Hotel

Day 2
Sundays
Depart early morning on the salt road towards Henties Bay, past some pans and an array of bird life. Visit Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes on way into Damaraland. Packed Lunch en route. We will arrive at our remote lodge during the late afternoon.
LP + DBB Damaraland – preferably Grootberg Lodge

Day 3
Mondays
Enjoy a morning scenic drive in rocky Damaraland with a guide of the lodge. Return to the lodge for lunch. Spent the afternoon at leisure or join a guided walk where you are introduced to the rich flora and fauna of the area.
FB Damaraland – preferably Grootberg Lodge

Day 4
Tuesdays
Leave Damaraland. Visit a Himba village near Kamanjab and learn more about the culture and the tradition of this half-nomadic people. Continue via the little town of Outjo (Lunch stop; Lunch for own account) to Otjiwarongo for overnight.
DBB Otjiwarongo – preferably Otjibamba Lodge

Day 5
Wednesdays
Join a local guide on a guided morning walk through the game park surrounding your Lodge. Possibility to join the Etosha Tour. Drive back to Windhoek via Okahandja, where you visit a local handicraft market. Tour ends on arrival in Windhoek during the afternoon. B

Includes:
4 Breakfast, 2 Lunch(packs), 4 Dinner, Accommodation, bottled water on board, transport in air-conditioned vehicles and guide, porterage, entrance fees, sightseeing as specified, Springbok Atlas extensive passenger liability insurance.


Important notes on Scheduled Tours:
- Guaranteed weekly departures
- Minimum 1, maximum 10 passengers, unless otherwise indicated.
- German + English guided, unless otherwise indicated. Enquire about other languages. The guide is also the driver.
- Due to the possibility of combining tour modules, passenger numbers and tour guides may vary in a tour.
- Air-conditioned vehicles. However, mind that Namibia is predominately desert terrain. Expect dusty roads and high temperatures.
- Pre- and post nights in Windhoek for most tours required due to early departure on first tour day and late arrival on last tour day.
- Pick-up and drop off at any central Windhoek Hotel or Guest House is included.

Excluded:
Personal expenses and drinks, all flights, personal insurance, Visa Fees, Tips for Tour guide.
