ITINERARY:
Day 1
Saturday
Onguma Nature Reserve
From Eros Airport (Windhoek) we commence our charter flight to the Etosha
National Park. From the Mokuti airstrip we transfer to Onguma Tented camp
where we will spend the next two nights. The Camp is located only eight
kilometres from the Von Lindquist Gate on the eastern outskirts of the Etosha
National Park. Originally part of the greater Etosha Game Reserve, Onguma is
one of Namibia's best-kept secrets.
In the afternoon we enjoy an afternoon excursion on the Onguma reserve, which
covers an area of 20 000ha and incorporates ecological substrata such as
savannah, bushveld, omuramba and dry pan.

Day 2
Sunday
Etosha National Park
After breakfast, travel into the Park for excellent game-viewing. The entire
day is dedicated for an exciting drive through one of Africa’s most diverse
and fascinating nature reserves. The park comprises a combination of saltpan
desert, woodlands and savannah that are home to 114 different animal as well
as over 340 different bird species. While visiting a number of waterholes, you
may come across 4 of the Big Five, as well as a number of rare and endangered
species such as the Cheetah, Roan and Sable.

Day 3 & Day 4
Monday & Tuesday
Damaraland / Twyfelfontein
After breakfast we fly into Damaraland and the Mowani Mountain Camp, situated
in the Twyfelfontein Conservancy. “Miwani” means “Place of God”, a description
that aptly lives up to its name…this is where you will find peace and
tranquillity. Lunch is followed by a siesta and an afternoon excursion to the
ancient Bushman rock engravings at Twyfelfontein. The following day cam be
spent exploring the surrounds or join a drive down into the riverbeds in
search of elusive desert elephant.

Day 5
Wednesday
Swakopmund / Namib Rand Nature Reserve
This morning we fly over the awe-inspiring Damaraland to Swakopmund, Namibia’s
most popular coastal destination. This tranquil town, wedged between the
Atlantic Ocean and the Namib Desert, offers a wide range of activities
including quad biking, sand boarding, marine cruises and desert tours to
mention but a few (optional at own cost, time permitting). In the afternoon we
fly via scenic route to the Namib Rand Nature Reserve, situated in one of the
most serene environments of the Namib Desert.

Day 6 & Day 7
Thursday & Friday
Namib Rand Nature Reserve
Explore the Namib Rand Reserve on a day safari. Enjoy the unique desert
landscape by landrover through the dunes, endless grassy plains and mystical
mountain formations. On the second day you may choose to view this
awe-inspiring, soulful and liberating environment from a hot-air balloon. In
the evenings experience the sense of peace and tranquillity of this remote
area under the magnificent blanket of stars.

Day 8
Saturday
Windhoek
After a leisurely breakfast we board our aircraft for the final flight back to
Windhoek. Upon our arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel from the Eros
Airport.

Northern Extension (Day 4):
From Mowani Mountain Camp enjoy an optional fly-in activity to Ruacana for
lunch, after which you will visit a traditional Himba village. Here you can
experience the way of living and the survival strategies of these semi-nomadic
pastoralists. After the visit you fly on to Epupa for a bird-eyes- view of the
falls before returning to Mowani Mountain Camp in time for sundowner-drink on
the massive granite boulders.
Southern Extension (Day 7):
Depart Wolwedans after breakfast and fly over the surreal dune landscape to
the Fish River Canyon. Enjoy tea, coffee and snacks at the viewpoint of the
second largest canyon on earth. Resume your scenic flight via the Orange River
(border to South Africa) to Kolmanskop Ghost Town. After a guided tour of
Kolmanskop you enjoy lunch, followed by a tour through the impressive
collection of German- style buildings of Lüderitz. Return to Wolwedans on a
spectacular flight over the Diamond Coast, Spencer Bay, Mercury Island and
Lange Wand. If you wish, you can savour another grand view of Sossusvlei from
the air before arriving at Wolwedans in the late afternoon.
