ZIMBABWE - Victoria Falls - Horse Safaris


The best way to view wildlife and get close to nature is on horseback, surrounded by the exciting bushveld and riverine forests as these trails offer prolific bird and game viewing opportunities

Horse ride with the wild - Become one with nature and experience the freedom of riding with the wild - Canter through the bush or stand unnoticed watching small game such as bushbuck and duiker.

  3. Healthy, happy horses – Thoroughbred and cross - bred 
  4. Safety Helmets 
  5. Water on ride and Tea /Coffee / Beer / Soft drinks after the Safari
  6. We ride through the bush on Safari - our guides are knowledgeable on the Trees, Birds and Wildlife encountered.
  7. Two guides per trip


General Info:
All trails are led by experienced rider guides and all riding levels are catered for. A first aid box and radio accompanies each trail.
Guests are advised to bring along binoculars, cameras, sunblock and insect repellent 
Riding helmets and Australian stock saddles are provided. No persons under the age of 16 are allowed and guests should be of reasonable fitness. 
Based at the Victoria Falls Polocross Club which is on the border of the Zambezi National Park 
Your horse safari takes place in a big game area right from the start 25 happy healthy thoroughbreds and Zimbabwean bush ponies. All horses are well trained 

MORNING RIDE: Pick up 7.05 - 7.15 AM
The 2 hour ride drop off at the clients Hotel will be at approximately 9.45 am
The 3 hour ride drop off at the clients Hotel will be at approximately 10.45 am 

AFTERNOON RIDE: Pick up 1.45 - 2.00 PM
The 2 hour ride drop off at the clients hotel will be at approximately 4.45
If the clients are going on a Sunset Cruise - we can end the ride at the Jetty at 4.20 for your convenience. 
The 3 hour ride drop off at the clients hotel will be at approximately 5.45

Experienced Riders
Should consider one-day, two-day, four-day and six-day horse safaris.

Available daily on either side of the Zambezi all year round.
