26 July - 12 August
2010 - Katja Zaletel (Slovenia)
Dear Lee-Ann,
We hope you are well. We summarized our impressions, photos and memories
from our trip in Namibia – it was perfect!
Dunes were great, as well as the food at Desert Homestead. In Swakopmund
we did a “living desert tour with Tommy’s” and it was wonderful. We
managed to go to seal colony at the Cape Cross. Etosha was an absolute
shock with so many wild animals – we saw hundreds of elephants, zebras,
giraffes,… and even a lion family. Halali was a perfect choice with the
central position in Etosha and now we would not change it for Okaukuejo.
The experience in Caprivi was very special and unforgettable. The houses
number 6 and 7 at Kwando lodge positioned in the river were absolutely
miraculous and the tree house in Ngepi with all the wildlife noises from
the river was amazing. Thank you again for ordering a birthday cake for
our daughter. At N’Kwasi the sunset on the river was really wonderful
and we were also very lucky to see traditional dances and singing. Frans
Indongo Lodge was a really nice stop on the way back.
Thank you again for all your help, hints and suggestions, which proved
to be absolutely spot on and helpful. And above all we thank you for
flawless organisation - every single step of our 18 days tour was
planned perfectly and there is nothing we would change. So, our
assessment would be 10/10. We will definitely pass our positive
experience to all that will be interested in travelling to Namibia in
the future and hopefully we will get a chance to plan with you our next
trip to Africa.
With kind regards,
Family Zaletel

Liebenberg (South Africa)
Dear Alice
Thank you for arranging a great holiday for us in Namibia. Things went
very smoothly and according to plan. The Kaleidoscope Tour was perfect
for our requirements and gave us a wonderful overview of the beautiful
and varied landscapes of Namibia, as well as its abundant wildlife and
birdlife (a photographer's dream). The accommodation was the perfect mix
between B&B, self-catering and camping (a first for us)! We also enjoyed
the efficient service and friendly Namibian people.
Best wishes

03 - 08 April 2010 - Oliver &
Angelika Dautzenberg (Germany)
Dear Lee-Ann,
To summarize it – our whole trip to Namibia was amazing!! It was a good
idea to spend some days on my step sisters' farm for acclimatization
first as we came out of the German winter. But the highlight for our
whole family was the camping tour with Derek. Within only 6 days we
could experience a brought variety of the Namibian landscape from the
Namib dessert with dune 45 and Sesriem Canyon via Walvis Bay and
Swakopmund to the Etosha National Park where we saw lots of wild
animals. The close relation to nature with the heat of the days, the
open-air meals and the starry nights in the tent made us forget the
daily routine right from the start.
For us Derek was the best guide we can imagine. He is a safe driver, a
very competent guide (country and animals) and a nice guy towards
everybody. He always gave us a feeling of safety and he fulfilled all
special requests with high flexibility (stops for photos, shopping,
meals …). His daily catering was varying and tasty - he even managed to
make our children eat unknown dishes what equals a miracle. He was
taking care of everything from dawn till sunset and his permanent motto
was “Don´t worry”. All this made the whole tour an extraordinary
experience especially for our kids who admired Derek and an
unforgettable memory for all of us. We enjoyed every single minute with
Derek and we had lots of fun together with him. At the end of the tour
we said good-bye to a friend. Thank you very much for recommending
Derek to us – this was the perfect choice!
Best regards
Oliver, Angelika, Alexander, Philip Dautzenberg

Richardson & Alan Rowland (UK)
Hallo Mari
At last a few pictures of our Namibian experience ! We had a very
successful and perfectly organised trip with excellent accommodation and
a very good vehicle. Given that we were slightly out of season we saw a
magnificent range of wild life and especially I enjoyed the dune
experience in Swakopmund with Chris Nel - so I have enclosed a photo of
the dancing spider - his lecture on the dune ecology was spot on. Please
feel free to use any or all of the images or none as you see fit. Thanks
again for a great tour!
Kind Regards
Alan |

26 December 2009 - 02 January 2010 - Marcello
Colacicchi (Italy)
Dear Mari,
I tell you something about my safari in Botswana.
Really everything was very satisfactory: the organization and the
assistance was good, great food, a small group that camp alone in the
bush, and the last days they woke up so early for help me to catch the
bus heading on my direction.
I don't understand why many guide-book write that in wet season you see
a few animals. I saw a lot of elephants, impalas, kudus, crocodiles,
hippos, zebras, wild dogs, giraffes, buffalos, and one time lions and
leopard.
I'm sure that I'll use in future your service. About that I'd like to do
one suggestion: I watch your scheduled tours for Namibia on your website
and all are very interesting.
Have a nice evening
Kind regards
Marcello |

(Angola)
Hello Mari.
I had a lovely time in Namibia, and I'm looking forward to coming back
soon.
Everything went perfect, the weather was fine (a bit chilly), and the
hotel and the lodge were fantastic.
Everyone was very friendly and concerned!
I loved specially the Ongava lodge. We were lucky to have it just for us
the first 2 days, so it was great to feel the silence and just relax.
Thank you for everything, and be sure I will recommend New African
Frontiers to everyone I know.
Best Regards, Goncalo |

Dear all at New African Frontiers,
I need to thank you all for making our trip to Namibia so unforgettable.
Everything went smoothly with all the arrangements you made - my biggest
surprise was to see the Avis car arriving out of the blue just as the
train stopped at the Swakopmund "station" (I never thought it would be
possible).
We would very much want to visit your beautiful country again.

Frans and Willemien

Hi Nice New African Frontiers Team!
I would like to thank you very much for your very efficient services
which made my stay in Namibia quite unforgettable! It was my first
visit, but for sure not the last. I’m quite enthusiastic about Africa
and about wildlife and nature, and have enjoyed the privilege of
visiting many other African countries. In my opinion Namibia is …
different! And great…!
The three areas and lodges were superb (Kulala – Naukluft Park,
Okahirongo Elephant – Purros and Mushara – Etosha) and all the New
African Frontiers organization was perfect.
Thanks again to everybody! Thanks again

19 May - 02 June 2007 - Nurit Biran (Israel)
I would like to thank you very much for your outstanding services which made my stay in Namibia very pleasant and comfort.
I was especially impressed by the welcome of your representative on my arrival date to the guest house and the wonderful aesthetic tags and booklet with the itinerary of my trip.
Being well familiar with advertising, I especially appreciate the effort put in creating those items, and the hospitality with 'going into the small details' of providing those helpful items which show attention and care.
I became an ambassador of your enterprise and of Namibia.
Wishing you prosperous times
Best Regards,
Nurit

26 April - 03 May 2007 - Sandra, Ian, Stanley & Norma (South Africa)
Thank you so much for your kind attention. We had a really wonderful time and your attention to the details and always being "on hand" is and was much appreciated.
The stay was good at all the B & B's - In Windhoek our host/hostess was very hospitable and made our stay most pleasant.
Swakopmund B & B was in an ideal position for us and we had a delightful stay in that really quaint town - good advice from the owners and an easy place to visit.
The lodge in the desert is truly remarkable and it was a memorable experience to stay there, our guide was terrific and the drives to and from Swakopmund and to Windhoek a good experience. I personally was awe inspired by the experience and the whole party had a great and memorable time.
Once again many thanks for your kindness and attentiveness.
Fond regards,
Sandra, Ian, Stanley & Norma

How are you? I returned from in every way GREAT Namibia exactly a week ago and have since been very busy catching up at work... I had SOOO much fun and enjoyed my time travelling around a lot. As everything was so PERFECTLY planned, my journey was very relaxing. Somehow, my mind and soul always related in a special way to Namibia, and therefore, it was a very healing and recovering trip, too.
I have never before travelled SO well-scheduled and recommended my entire family and friends to do the same trip.
Viele liebe Grüße, Isabelle

24 - 26 March 2007 - Myriam dos
Santos-Zingale (Angola/Switzerland) & Patricia Steiner
We very much we enjoyed our trip to the Sossusvlei from Windhoek to Swakopmund. We had a great time with our guide/driver (Thomas) who drove us from Windhoek to the lodge and from the lodge to Swakopmund. He was an agreeable companion during our trip.
All the staff at the lodge were wonderful and we enjoyed our stay there. The location is breath taking during the night and during the day and the swimming pool in the middle of the desert is quite the experience. Our guided tour to the Sossusvlei was beautiful because the scenery was so amazing. Our guide to the dunes was nice and had great knowledge.
Greetings,
Myriam

June 2007 - Cruz (Portugal)
I just loved it all. Everything was very well organized.
And I can tell you that a Toyota can do Etosha-Okahandja on a half tank of gas. I proved it!
The park was wonderful, lots and lots of animals. I spent almost all of the battery of my camera there.
The guide to Sossusvlei was very professional and friendly. And the scenery was breathtaking. I couldn't believe my eyes.
All in all, everything went smoothly and fine. I still have to download to this computer the photos and then I'll send you some.
Kind Regards,
Cruz |
